Kidzone
Kidzone provides a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for students in grades K-8 to enjoy. Kidzone offers opportunities to reinforce learning via the supervised study hall with technology and other resources available as needed. Staff strives to develop activities that are stimulating, fun, and appropriate for the various age and skill levels of the children being served, such as art, music, science, academic support, recreation, and free time. In the morning, students have the opportunity to catch up on homework, access to a TV to watch cartoons, and board games are available to play. After school, children engage in arts and crafts and many other activities. While outside, the students will have the opportunity to free play or join a structured game such as kick ball, soccer and many other games that can be adapted to appeal to children of all ages.
Breakfast is served before school, and after school a nutritional snack is offered. Kidzone follows the USDA requirements when planning meals and snacks for children.
All students must register each year to attend with limited space available.
