FAQs

Does my child have to be Catholic to attend?

What are the tuition and fees?

Are there registration fees?

Is tuition assistance available?

Will there be a waitlist for my child?

St. Patrick's welcomes all families, regardless of faith denomination, who are seeking a high quality, faith-based education. During mass, we welcome non-Catholic students and guests to come up to the minister at communion and receive a blessing.  All students are required to attend religion class daily and mass weekly at the school.

If your child is accepted, a non-refundable registration fee of $225.00 is required.
St. Patrick's  understands that a Catholic school education is a gift that leads to a brighter future, and we know that this gift represents a significant investment and commitment of time, talent, and treasure for any family. We work with families on a confidential, individual basis to ensure that qualified students are given every opportunity to attend our school.
We typically have waitlists for our PreSchool, PreKindergarten and Kindergarten programs. We may have waitlists in other grades, depending on the number of applicants and available space. We encourage new families to adhere to the application deadlines and to complete their application, along with supporting documents, as soon as possible.  While waitlists seem daunting, they are a great way to ensure that your child has a place at St. Patrick's as soon as possible!

What test will my child need to take as part of the admissions process?

Are your teachers certified?
Is your school accredited?

There are several instances where pre-admission testing is required for placement:
  • Kindergarten:  students are assessed with two different kindergarten readiness tests.
  • Homeschooled:  students are assessed with the STAR test in Math, Reading, and  Early Literacy (K-1) (depending upon age and availability of recent records) students may be required to take classroom assessments as well.
  • Transfer Students: students are assessed with the STAR test in Math, Reading (2-8)  and Early Literacy (K-1).
St. Patrick's Catholic School is proud to be accredited by Cognia. All of our teachers are certified and highly qualified to teach. 62% of our teachers hold a masters degree.
