Reports to: Administration

​Principal Duties and Responsibilities

St. Patrick's is currently accepting applications for P/T Teacher Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment for students in the school environment.
  • Supervise students at all times, ensuring their safety, well-being, and adherence to school expectations.
  • Promote respectful behavior, positive social interactions, and conflict resolution.
  • Support and model the mission, values, and teachings of the Catholic Church and school.
  • Follow all school, diocesan, and safety procedures, including emergency protocols. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of child supervision and age-appropriate behavior management techniques.
  • Ability to create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for students.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and flexibility.
  • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
  • Ability to actively supervise students indoors and outdoors.

Education and Experience​
  • Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, recreational, or related setting preferred.
  • Must complete a background check and the Archdiocese of Omaha Safe Environment training​​

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
St. Patrick's is currently accepting applications for P/T Kidzone Employee for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment for students in the before- and after-school care program.
  • Supervise students at all times, ensuring their safety, well-being, and adherence to school expectations.
  • Assist and execute participating age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and enrichment opportunities.
  • Assist students with homework and encourage positive academic habits.
  • Promote respectful behavior, positive social interactions, and conflict resolution.
  • Support and model the mission, values, and teachings of the Catholic Church and school.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and complete incident or behavior reports as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student needs and concerns.
  • Assist with snack distribution, program setup, cleanup, and maintaining an organized environment.
  • Follow all school, diocesan, and safety procedures, including emergency protocols. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of child supervision and age-appropriate behavior management techniques.
  • Ability to create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for students.

  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and flexibility.

  • Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, recreational, or related setting preferred.
