3-8 Spanish Teacher

Reports to: Administration

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
St. Patrick's is looking for a full-time Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year for grades 3-8. St. Patrick's is a faithful and rigorous high school preparatory, Catholic school. This candidate will introduce students to the Spanish language and culture through dynamic and engaging lessons and activities. Applicants should possess a Nebraska teaching certificate with World Language/Spanish endorsement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-Plan and deliver engaging and age appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards
-Integrate Catholic values and teachings into Spanish instruction
-Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
-Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administration

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education
  • Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate, with a preferred endorsement in World Language - Spanish or the ability to obtain one
  • Safe environment certified

5-8 Resource Teacher

Reports to: Administration

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
St. Patrick's is currently accepting applications for special education/resource for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • Should be special education certified. 
  • The ideal applicant will be student-centered and team-oriented.
  • Provides support within the classroom and some pullout for students who need extra support.
  • Support and adheres to accommodation plans in addition to student success documents.
  • Provides leadership to the primary unit in identifying and responding to students' needs.
  • Math specialization or training in remedial reading programs is preferred.


Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Positive and friendly attitude with a team-centered approach.
  • Strong skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, and patience.
  • Commitment to supporting student growth and achievement.
  • Desire to work with middle school students and support their academic success.

Education and Experience
  • Experience working with middle school students or intervention is preferred.
  • Nebraska teaching license with Special Education certification/endorsement
  • Must complete a background check and the Archdiocese of Omaha Safe Environment training.
