Preparing to serve with you as part of a wonderful team of stakeholders is both thrilling and humbling. Thrilling in that my education and experience in Catholic education will be put to the fullest use; and humbling in the knowledge that it is a joint effort of the administration, faculty, staff, parents, and parish that make St. Patrick’s the truly great Catholic school that it is. I would like to take this time to personally welcome you to our St. Patrick’s Catholic School family. All are welcome!
The Teachers and Staff at St. Patrick's School are committed to working with you to prepare your children not just for the next grade or the report card, but we want to help prepare your children for life. We believe that if we accept each child who walks in our door and work our hardest to make that child the best he or she can be, we are doing what we are charged to do.
It is our responsibility to teach them to read and write, to add and multiply, to think and to create. It is also our job to teach them to work harder to accomplish more. It is our job to teach them to be better - better friends, better students, and better children of God.
At the same time, we know that every single day we must reflect God’s unconditional love for them, and demonstrate our belief in them. This is a huge responsibility and the teachers and staff at St. Patrick’s School takes this ministry very seriously.
Pope Francis proclaimed, “Let us journey together” as Catholic education holds a three-fold mission of message, community, and service. This mission is achieved by proclaiming God’s message of salvation, by respecting the dignity of all members of our global community, and by serving the needs of others. We should take great pride in our school as we have always strived to achieve these goals.
I look most forward to the excitement of the students and all the wonderful possibilities of a new year to come. The world is changing so quickly. Our students are now global citizens and 21st century learners. The exponential progress in education and learning that our incoming preschoolers and kindergartners will experience before they graduate as 8th graders is amazing. At St. Patrick’s we promote leadership in every student. I firmly believe…tomorrow’s leaders are at St. Patrick’s today!
Your Brother In Christ,
